For adult cats, feed ¼–½ cup per day for cats weighing 4–8 lbs, ½–⅔ cup per day for 9–14 lbs, ⅔–1 cup per day for 14–20 lbs, and 1 cup per day for cats over 20 lbs. For kittens, feed ⅓ cup per day from 0–8 weeks, ½ cup per day from 9–24 weeks, and ½ cup per day from 25–40 weeks. Pregnant cats may need up to double the adult feeding amount, while nursing cats may require up to four times the amount. Adjust feeding as necessary, and always provide fresh, clean water.
